Valencia Acura to host public pet adoption event in Santa Clarita

Valencia Acura is hosting the region’s first public pet adoption event since the start of the pandemic this weekend, featuring furry faces from the Los Angeles County Castaic Animal Care Center.

Pulling from three different care centers, dozens of animals are expected to be available for adoption on Saturday at Valencia Acura.

“We are delighted to have this adoption event at Valencia Acura and look forward to a great adoption and success day,” said Marissa Chavez, Volunteer Programs Coordinator for the County Animal Care and Control Department. from Los Angeles.

Special prizes should be offered during the one-day event:

  • Dog adoption fees: ages 5 and up – $ 5 plus license fees
  • Under 5 years old – $ 30 plus allowed costs
  • Cat adoption fee – $ 5 plus license fee
  • Other animals: Hamster – $ 5; Guinea pigs – $ 10

The event will be held on Saturday, November 20 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Valencia Acura dealership at 23955 Creekside Road in Santa Clarita, according to Valencia Acura.

With each adopted animal, bags full of dog and cat treats should be provided, according to Valencia Acura.
