Dozens of furry friends find new families after MEGA Pet Adoption Event and Holiday Extravaganza in Roanoke

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – On Saturday afternoon, nearly 40 furry friends from Southwest Virginia shelters were welcomed into forever homes after the “MEGA Pet Adoption Event and Holiday Extravaganza” at the Berglund Center.

Organizers said 18 of the animals adopted on Saturday, December 11, were from the Angels of Assisi, seven from the Regional Center for the Protection and Protection of Animals (RCACP), seven from the Martinsville-Henry County SPCA and four from the Galax. Carroll-Grayson Animal Shelter.
